In order to be eligible to be a delegate to each conference, you must define yourself as part of the constituent group (eg only female students may nominate themselves to be a delegate to the Women's conference.

Conferences coming up are as follows:

Disabled Students conference 2 - 3 May in Manchester.

Each SU is entitled for 1 delegate and up to 3 observers.

Black Students conference 12 - 13 May in Bradford

Each SU is entitled to 1 delegate and up to 4 observers

Sections Conference for Postgraduate students, Mature and Part Time students and those with carer responsibilities.

Each SU is entitled to 1 delegate and any number of observers

Trans Students Conference 30 April - 1 May in Manchester

Each SU is entitled to a total of 5 delegates and i observer

The 5 delegates places are as follows:

1 open place

1 place for a non-binary student

1 female student

1 black student 

1 disabled student

The Union Council decided that nominated students who are not elected may be nominated as observers, if allowed.

 

Nominations will close Sat 24th March, 9am. Voting opens Sat 24th March 10am - midnight on Sun 25th March.

In order to nominate yourself, you will need to create an account for the Brookes Union website, if you haven’t already done so.
