My name is Anna Stančíková and I come from Prague, the capital city of Czech Republic. I have been playing the piano for 15 years and during that time I have won several piano competitions and I used to play at concerts on monthly basis. My other hobby is golf. I have been playing golf for 12 years and my hcp is 8. Beside that I used to do ballet, gymnastics, aerobic and nowadays I ended up with ballroom dancing. In my free time I am a fitness trainer for football players and I also manage my own charity to support people with acquired communication disorder or stroke victims.
My name is Jude Perera and I’ve singing since I was 4 years old. Music has always been a part of my life growing up and I’ve drawn so much inspiration from powerhouse vocalist like Whitney Houston and Aretha Franklin. I was raised in California and travelled all over the world ever since I was young, so I’ve heard different types of music and incorporated that into my singing
Hi, Im Monika. I’m originally from Lithuania but have lived in the UK for the last 12 years. I study Geography at Brookes and spend my spare time teaching myself guitar.
My name is Samuel Winner and I study First Year Music! I am from London, and I am really enjoying University so far. If there’s anything interesting about me; On weekends, to let off steam, I participate in full-contact origami. I breed prizewinning clams. I also have a passion for singing and musical theatre stuff and I hope I’m a potential winner of the competition!
My name is Silvia Pellegrino, I am 19 years old and I was born and raised in Italy, in a city near Milan. Music has always been a fundamental part of my life and it helped me through thick and thin, alongside singing and playing the piano. When my friends read a book or studied for finals I was busy writing songs and singing covers, ironically. I always believed that sounds have the power to create emotions that words will never be able to capture, so I hope I will do the same tonight, or at least try to.
I’m a Film student in my second year. I’ve been participating in musicals since early primary school but only started doing them seriously in high school, performing in school productions such as Fiddler on the Roof and West Side Story in the ensemble, and finally scoring a lead role as Doctor Bartolo in an abridged version of The Marriage of Figaro in my final year. Since coming to Brookes, I’ve been a part of OBMT and Fortune Singers to make sure I’m constantly singing. Outside of those, I often go to Quiz Society and find myself watching terrible movies and tv shows, though I never really know why.
Hi I’m Proud from Thailand and currently a 3rd year hospitality student. I had a love for music and singing from a young age thanks to my dad’s passion as a musician. This will be my first time performing in front of a crowd and I’m excited to be a part of this years talent show!
